Ludco Gun Shop opened in March of 1972 with a inventory of ten guns. Owners Richard (my father), David (my brother) and I (Fred Ludington) ran the shop for several years, opening at 6 pm till 9 pm. As time went by, my father passed away, I bought my brother out, and the lumber yard closed, so I decided to focus on the gun shop full time.

Ludco Gun Shop is still in the same building, but has a few more guns today than in 1972. Today we have around 3000 guns and are open from 9 am till 6 pm Monday thru Saturday and 9 am till 4 pm on Sunday. I inventory archery supplies, fishing tackle, reloading supply’s, holsters, scopes, ammo, knives, metal detectors,  black powder and just about anything else you can think of that goes along with guns and hunting.

Ludco Gun Shop is packed to the ceiling with merchandise and guns. Ludco Gun Shop is proud to be one of the smallest gun shops in square footage, but as most people say, “I have never seen so many guns in one place before”! Ludco Gun Shop is a one person operation and I try to price all my merchandise as competitive as I can, but we all know, you have to keep food on the table. I do my best to stand behind everything I sell. If you ever have a problem with anything you purchase from Ludco Gun Shop, bring it back and I will do everything I can to get it fixed for you.

I have not stayed in business since 1972 by NOT treating my customers fairly, even though it does get difficult at times with such a large selection of guns. I should have what you want, and if not, we order daily, so we can get almost anything you need in a day or so.
